Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

ReloDays is a moving-checklist app. This policy explains what information it handles, where that information goes, and the choices you have. The short version: your checklist lives on your device; if you sign in it also syncs to our servers; analytics cookies run only if you say yes; we never sell your data.

Who we are

ReloDays (relodays.com) is operated by its founders and acts as the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything in this policy, contact support@relodays.com.

Information stored on your device

Your answers (ZIP codes, origin country, household details like kids or pets), your checklist, task progress, and preferences (such as theme) are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. If you never sign in, this data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Account and sync (optional)

If you sign in with Google, we receive and store your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account, and we store a copy of your checklist data on our servers (hosted on Cloudflare) so it can sync across your devices. A session cookie keeps you signed in. We use this data only to provide the account and sync features.

Sharing a checklist

If you create an invite link and someone accepts it, you and that person edit the same checklist: each of you can see the checklist contents and the progress the other makes. Only share invite links with people you trust; links expire after 7 days.

Analytics

Google Analytics runs only if you accept the analytics banner shown on your first visit. If you decline (or never answer), Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics data is sent to Google (fonts and the optional Google sign-in still load from Google's servers; see Third-party services below). You can change your mind by clearing the site's browser data, which shows the banner again. When enabled, Google Analytics uses cookies and collects usage and device information under Google's privacy policy. Legal basis: your consent.

We also keep our own basic usage log, independent of the analytics banner: a random visitor identifier (stored in a cookie and in your browser's local storage) together with events such as visiting the site, your analytics-banner choice, starting or generating a checklist, signing in, sharing, technical errors, and a partner link being shown or clicked, plus the origin and destination of your move and approximate region. This exists so we can understand how the app is used and improve it, and to verify partner reporting. If you sign in, this identifier is linked to your account; it is never sold or shared for advertising.

Affiliate and partner links

Some tasks show links from partners, labelled "Sponsored" or "Partner". ReloDays may earn a commission when you use them, at no extra cost to you. When you click one you leave ReloDays, and the partner site's own privacy policy applies. We record that a partner link was clicked as part of our analytics.

Third-party services

What we do not do

Data retention and deletion

Local data stays on your device until you clear it or reset the app. Server data (account and synced checklist) is kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Our first-party usage log is kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymized. To delete your account and synced data, contact us at the address below and we will remove it within 30 days.

Your rights (including EU/UK visitors)

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict our processing of it. Email support@relodays.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Where we rely on legal bases: consent (Google Analytics), performance of a contract (accounts, sync, shared checklists), and legitimate interest (the first-party usage log used to understand and improve the app, security, and partner-reporting verification described above).

Children

ReloDays is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the date above.
